What Elmrow cannot read

A letter, a photo, and a video are locked on the device before they leave. The server keeps the scrambled copy. It does not keep the key, and it cannot open them.

Officers run the city. They can see who lives in a ward, take a report, and ban someone. They do not get a copy of a letter, a photo, or a video.

The square is locked to the people who live in that ward. A mayor does not get a special key.

A reaction is a small sealed mark on a note. The server can see that a mark was left. It cannot see which one.

A new letter uses a one-time key. A later copy of a long-term key cannot open old letters.

Your passphrase is not stored. If you lose it, and you do not have the saved key file, nobody can open that device. There is no reset.
